Opening Banquet

RVP for Southern Mindanao and Convention Chair Jerry Guiang formally opens the 6th Mindanao Convention and welcomes delegates from all over the country.

National President Robert Lee cites the steadfastness of the Mindanao chapters in preparing and holding the 6th Mindanao Convention in spite of difficulties and challenges brought about by recent natural calamities.

Evangelist Rodrigo Bacos shares his life story of how God miraculously healed him three times in an almost hopeless situation. Here is a link to the 700 Club's "I can walk again."

Pastor Roger Delgado leads in the Ministry Time. Many delegates came forward to receive Jesus Christ confessing sins and praying for good health, good relationships, protection and prosperity.

Building character for Vision 2018

ALTS third speaker - Pastor Bert Diao, former president of the Davao City Chapter on Character Formation and Development.

He recalls how FGBMFI achieve in winning for men to the fellowship during the mid 1980s. He said in those years, breakfast meetings attracts at least 200 members, compared with today's average of only about 1/4.

He exhorts delegates to hone their character to be able to hlep achieve the Vision 2018 in soul winning.

How to achieve Vision 2018?

National Director Edgar Morada formerly of MTCRB uses a multimedia presentation to hammer the point on his presentation during the ALTS with excerpts from the award-winning movie The Schindler's List.

The goal: achieve the 1000/100 target of Vision 2018 to save souls.

Just like what Oscar Schindler did to save lives during the Holocaust in Germany during World War II.

ALTS opens with Vision for 2018

The Advance Leadership Training Seminar opened with a prayer from Jun Engracia of Cebu City Chapter and RVP for Visayas.

Nine chapters were represented in the opening of the training - Davao City, Davao Matina, Olongapo, Metropolitan Manila, Iligan City, Cebu City, Cagayan de Oro City. General Santos City and Koronadal City.

He outlined, among others, the Philippine FGBMFI Vision for 2018 to have 100 chapters and with 1,000 active members.

No less than the Convention Chair, RVP for Mindanao Jerry Guiang, with Finance Committee Chair Armand Enero, officially opens the registration at 9 am for the 6th Mindanao Regional Convention at the 8th Floor of the Royal Mandaya Hotel.

Pastor Roger Delgado leads in a special prayer for members of the Davao City chapter who are marking their birthday this month.

Among those present in yesterday's breakfast fellowship were Engr. Rudy Junsay, Diego Baoy and Orly Gabriel.

Pastor Delgado of the Davao City Christian Fellowship Church is one of the speakers in the 6th Mindanao FGBMFI Convention late this month.

Bacos to be main speaker on Nov 29

Congressman and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao has declined the invitation to speak before the 6th Mindanao Convention so as not to mix up his and the FGBMFI's schedule following his bout on Nov 24.

VP for Mindanao Jerry Guiang announced that the main sharer for the Nov 29 opening banquet would be Rodrigo Bacos. He is described as the "man who died 3 times, saw heaven and lived again."

Pacquiao will have a very tight schedule following his match in Macau. He is expected to visit China thereafter and then he has a number of engagements in Manila.

So as not complicate his schedule as well that of the 6th Mindanao Convention, Pacquiao is now eyeing to speak during the National Convention scheduled on May 1-3, 2014 in Cebu City.

Let's sell the best product in the world - Pastor Diao

Pastor Bert Diao called on members of the Davao City chapter to "sell the best product in the world" by becoming fishers of men.

He said FGBMFI needs to grow in the Lord by bringing more men to Jesus Christ.

One of the spiritual advisers and former President of the chapter, Pastor Diao was the main sharer in today's breakfast fellowship with over 30 members in attendance.

Many members left today for Marbel to join the South Cotabato chapter dinner fellowship tonight.

Marbel to hold dinner fellowship October 26

The Marbel, South Cotabato chapter of FGBMFI will hold a dinner fellowship on October 26.

The Davao City chapter is sending a special delegation to attend the gathering and to follow up the invitation to Rep. Manny Pacquiao as the Main Sharer during the 6th Mindanao Regional Convention on November 29-30.

The Davao City delegation will be led by VP Jerry Guiang and Capt. Herme Verga, Field Representative for Southern Mindanao.

Davao City to host 6th FGBMFI Mindanao gab

The 6th Mindanao Regional Convention of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International will be in Davao City on November 29-30.

The two-day event will be held at the Royal Mandaya Hotel, where the host city chapter holds its regular Saturday breakfast fellowship.

Convention Chair businessman Jerry Guiang, who is the National VP for Southern Mindanao, extended his invitation to all FGBMFI members in Mindanao to attend the annual gab.

The key features of the convention are the Advance Leadership Training Seminar (ALTS), opening banquet, sharings from spiritual advisers and life testimony of the Main Sharer.
